@MikeWuang: Claude : I read both pages. Their fix was: install **`nvidia-driver-470`** plus `nvidia_drm.fbdev=1`, and it resolved their lag. Important confirmation buried in their output, though — that thread is the *same machine as yours*: `MacBookPro10,1`, i7-3635QM, GT 650M Mac Edition, even the same `bq20z451` battery. And note their graphics line: `ports: active: eDP-1` on the **NVIDIA** device, with Intel showing `active: none`. That independently confirms what we found — **the panel is wired to the Nvidia GPU**, not the Intel one. But their fix won't transfer to you, for a concrete reason. They're on **Linux Mint 22.1, kernel 6.8.0-55**. The 470 driver works there. You're on **Fedora 44, kernel 7.1.4** — and the 470 branch is EOL and fails on kernels ≥5.18 with Intel CPUs. That's precisely why the Omarchy user I found earlier ended up back on nouveau. So `nvidia-driver-470` isn't available to you in any working form.
Glitch
Wayland...
