Galenaia is soooo good like unbelievably high quality and fun to use and unique and altogether just one of the best vocals I've used in a long ass time. It's unfortunate that we have so many other releases on the way because all I want to do is use Galenaia on things, I've barely looked at the other SVS2 ports and new vocals and I haven't even touched HXVOC despite him launching at the same time as her. She's also surprisingly easy to mix; I expected as much when mixing her for classical music where the mix would be fairly simple, but even here when the mix is very Contemporary Pop she really behaved herself, we love a polite diva. It also allowed me to really experiment and play with the effects and I think I created something really unique, I haven't loved something I've made as I do this one in quite a long time. Do not kill my angels today! Taking a step back with the synths to give you a symphonic metal song straight from the 2010's! When I first heard Galenaia and Hxvoc, I wanted them to sing together for a song that was reminiscent of that 2010 Symphonic Metal sound. And thanks to Theodor, we added some subtle Nightwish references in the mix, like the techno drum section before the second verse. Another reason for using Hxvoc and Galenaia was to do a 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Phantom of the Opera' type song - The song was written to be about an outsider's perspective on a toxic relationship. So Hxvoc and Galenaia are representing the angel and the devil on someone's shoulder. So they're both talking to themselves and arguing to the person in the relationship. Everything else is left up to the imagination - I wanted to include a Spanish section with Galenaia, but I don't speak the language. So that bridge was co-written with LovelyMetalhead to make sure the grammar was correct. Some changes were made to fit the meter like "don't kill my angels" became "don't assassinate my angels" because that had a better flow in Spanish. - For some reason, Hxvoc and Galenaia are not wearing shoes. So it's the first Zynthesiren song that shows feet. Do whatever you want with that information - First Zynthesiren song that doesn't use Solaria
